Velkravya

The state of velkravya is group of revolutionaries located in and around Astuiria that rebel against the occupation of their homeland by the Nordrykke Kingdom.

The bear represents strength, endurance, and sovereignty, while the torch signifies enlightenment and defiance against darkness. The green field reflects Velkravya’s fertile lands and connection to the forests. Nobles wear cloaks clasped with bear-shaped brooches, and ceremonial sword engraved with the bear and torch are common symbols of leadership.

Structure

The rebellion is led by a militarised aristocracy called the Forgeborne and supported by engineers, miners, and a merchant class. Their society places a heavy emphasis on hierarchical order.

Culture

The new governmental body of Velkravya bases their cultural model on determination and militarism. The Velkravyans are renowned for their mining and engineering prowess and value discipline and ingenuity.

Religion

They follow a reverence for Velka, the Flame of Creation, a deity tied to innovation and conquest. Their temples are often built around volcanic vents or deep in mines.

Agriculture & Industry

The Velkravya are skilled miners and industrialists. Their key production and exports revolve around steel and gems. On the other hand, they are reliant on trade to keep their populace feed.
