Arcane Nexus

A meeting point for everything magical, The Arcane Nexus is an umbrella organization that centralizes the knowledge, schooling, and commercialization of magic. Wizards gather here to share and deepen their knowledge. There is a vast library on every thinkable topic and even courses for sorcerer and warlocks are given as well.

The Academy

Several courses about magic but also mundane knowledge are given at this institution. unless further noted each of them costs 20GP per person and lasts 5 Days:

• Knowledge Classes: This course focuses on sharpening the mind and allows the allocation of 6 points into mental attributes. Also unlocks proficiency in one of the following: History, Arcana, Investigation.
• Field Trip: Take part in a field trip covering the natural world. Allows allocation of 4 points and unlocks one of: Nature, Medicine, Survival
• Extra Curriculum Club: Unlock proficiency in any tool except thieves, forgery and disguise.
• Magic Control: learn how to feel and control the magic around you. Unlocks Wizard class option. Potential to awaken sorcerer powers.
• Magic learning: For wizards only. Learn a new spell for your spell book. Takes a double course(10 Days).

Magical Services

Non magic users can commision various services by the skilled mages under the employment of the nexus. These include but are not limited to:

• Teleportation: Portals to mayor cities in the empire. This costs 50GP per Person
• Identify: against a 25GP fee a wizard can identify a magical item
• Remove Curse: Mages can remove common curses against a fee of 75GP
• Enchant: Common magic effects can be placed on items. Requires a screening and costs 100GP

The Library

The nexus holds the larges collection of books and scrolls in it's possesion. While some of them are sealed away or reserved for schooling purposes, patrons are able to buy day passes that allow them to spend a whole day inside and read through any book they come across. A single day pass costs 5GP. Most of the instructional books require a tenday of concentrated reading to fully grasp their knowledge.
