Maman LaTroc

Maman LaTroc

Maman is a statuesque black woman, who typically wears African-inspired fashions. She has a warm and welcoming approach, but there is something hard in her eyes as well.   Her occult shop, In, Good Spirits always seems to have exactly what her customers need. If not on the display floor, then perhaps behind the desk. The shop also seems to be open odd hours, and she is the only one who works there. People have told tale of wandering in to her shop at 3 in the morning to find her there, or to go by mid-afternoon and find it closed.   Maman is a New Orleans occult scene fixture, and is said to be much older than she looks. If asked, she either names a ridiculous new agey or literature-based ingredient, ("Eye of newt and toe of frog, chere!") or offers some variant of "a lady never tells."   Maman is a full-blooded fey, the child of Oroskillen and Allura. How she came to be in the earthly realm and in her current role is unclear. But Oroskillen has said that it has been "a long time" even by fey standards since it has seen its daughter.
