Rev Cly D'Tirle, Lul Ba'Ri, Udart Gunt and Kawfee foil an attempt to kidnap Kayvan Whidowes and find themselves at an Imperial Excavation Site where they come face to face with two powerful enemies, Inquisitor Bishop and Inquisitor Rook.
It is a time of great darkness in the galaxy. A veil of corruption shrouds the planet of Tartarus II as the seemingly endless war rages across its surface. IMPERIAL attacks grow more desperate by the day as their forces are, slowly but surely, driven back by the NEW REPUBLIC. Several weeks have passed since 3 of our heroes left for OASIS SPACE STATION, following up on a lead alluding to a nefarious plot by the IMPERIALS. As of yet there has been no word from them and they remain M.I.A. Fearing the worst, UDART GUNT dispatches a contingent force to investigate the whereabouts of their missing cohorts, but feeling the strings of the dark side pulling ever tighter around them, LUL BA'RI requests that the Sullustan, along with his fellow force sensitive students, stay behind to continue their training… Believing Kayvan Whidowes is the key to opening up an ancient tomb beneath Tartarus II, The Empire dispatches two Sith acolytes to infiltrate Berchtesgaden and capture him. One of the acolytes is stopped by Rev Cly D'Tirle, who finds a datapad on his person, but the one carrying Kayvan manages to escape on a waiting speeder bike with Lul Ba'Ri, Udart Gunt and Kawfee in hot pursuit. The Rev attempts to decrpyt the datapad and finds the coordinates for where the acolytes were headed as well as some information on the Imperial excavation going on there, codenamed 'Operation Prometheus'. Following a desperate chase, Kayvan is recovered and after much deliberation, the crew go to investigate the Imperial Excavation Site. They crew arrive at the excavation site and see that a great mural carved into a wall is barring the Imperials from making any further progress. As they scout the layout before them, the crew sense a great power deep beneath the earth, beckoning them onward. They head into the site, catching a glimpse of two figures dressed in black robes, radiating a terrible power and overhear a conversation where they are referred to as Inquisitor Bishop and Inquisitor Rook. The crew finally get to the mural and solve the puzzle blocking the entrance, finding themselves in a long, winding passage way beyond. Following it deeper below the jungle floor, they eventually come to an ancient tomb, dominated by a great stone plinth with a sarcophagus sitting atop it. The crew are immediately drawn to this and find themselves facing off against a dark specter who tries to goad them into anger, but using their wits and sheer force of will, they drive back the apparition, who explodes in a blinding flash of light. As their eyes refocus, they sense the darkness recede from the tomb, the sarcophagus that once dominated the chamber crumbles to dust and they find a holocron among the rubble. As the crew gather their thoughts, the two inquisitors enter the tomb, and feeling trapped, the crew engage them in battle. Bishop and Rook prove to be too great a match for our heroes though, and after sustaining heavy injuries, Kawfee grabs his allies and makes a break for the exit. In their arrogance, their enemies deem them to be too insignificant and allow them to escape so they can concentrate on completing their mission of discovering the ancient knowledge hidden within the chamber.
