The Material Plane
[GM Note: This article was originally meant to be a placeholder so that one can easily identify where the Material Plane fits within the setting’s cosmology. All other details regarding this plane and its landmarks can be found in the Atlas of the Material Plane folder and in The Basics tab on the Homepage. However, there is a fact worth noting that didn’t make sense to put anywhere else: although the gods are indisputably the most powerful beings in the Multiverse, they do not directly interfere with worldly affairs or interact with any other powerful beings (besides the Elder Mythos, whose very existence endangers all of creation). In spite of this, for reasons unknown, the gods focus 100% of their attention upon the Material Plane and the mortal souls that live there 100% of the time, leaving the rest of the Nine Realms to its own devices.]
