The Natural Disasters #9: Welcome to Elturel

General Summary

The group investigate the area and play around with the bloody slab. They learn that placing your hands on the slab causes the blood to slowly disappear while your hand tingles. They then follow the boot prints for a few days until they come to an outcropping of rocks against the river.
The Natural Disasters as they’ve taken to calling themselves, then followed the rickety wooden walkway built around the rocks, and when they turned a corner, saw a ship waiting ahead of them. The group attempt to sneak onto the ship, but Kriv and Ariel blow their cover. 
Thus, the group find themselves fighting corrupted humanoids on the ship. Elven like figure with blades strapped to their arms jumped out at Ariel and began shredding into him with blade and claw. The dwarves began slamming against the party members with large tower shields, and the humans shot a crossbow bolt each before abandoning the ranged weapons for melee and getting backup. The backup arrived in the form of a hovering corrupted creature that called out to the adventurers to ready for a finale here.
The fight continued with the Natural Disasters acquiring many wounds, but in the end, Ariel slew the corrupted cleric as it said, “this is not the end, lighbringer.” He then promptly passed out on the deck while Kriv and Hope rescued prisoners from inside the ship.
They took some time and travelled onwards towards Elturel. As everyone travelled, they learned that one of the group was named Pons, and he says that the merchant caravan was attacked by some large troll and those things. Then, they took the oxen that we’re pulling the carts and sacrificed them on the altar. At that point, members of the caravan were laid on the tablet and morphed into those strange darkened people.
However, everyone found their own way, when they made it to the capitol of the nation of two suns. Feeling the happiness and light here, everyone’s demeanor changed. Bear went to the bathhouse while the other Disasters went to the Hellriders HQ to find Syllin, the sister of Kriv and Hope. Upon talking to a follower of Tyr named Jex, they learn Syllin is probably in the dock area, so they continue their search there to find a winged elf who is coincidentally, their sister Syllin.
