The Natural Disasters #6: Good Intentions

General Summary

The Hellrider standing before the group draws a dagger and charges at Kriv. He goes and slashes into him, attacking where it is vital, and apologizing for the damage he must do to stop future murders. He then rides off into the air and waits to strike again. The party flounders to find a way to beat him as Remington shoots at him, hitting some shots. 
Finally, the Hellrider flies above the group as he drops Kriv to the ground, unconscious from many blows. As Arnold prepares to go in for larger strikes with a breath of new air in his lungs, Remington takes two shots on the hexed hellrider. A second later. Arnold fell from the sky, his helmet clanging against the ground. 
Hope draws Arnold's blade and readies to finish the job if necessary. The party quickly fights off the horse, and it disappears into the mist. Soon after, a building begins rolling towards the group carried by three horses with the artillerist on top of it, pointing two guns at the group.
She asks the group, "Hand over the body and my things," cackling all the while and claiming it was easy to do this to him.
Hope and Kriv protect the corpse of Arnold as red leathery wings grow out of her back. She then begins to ready to shoot those who refuse to listen. She begins firing through people as she flies through the air. Additionally, she begins invading people's minds, forcing Bear to begin carrying Arnold's body to her vehicle while Remington begins shooting at his friends.
The party stops this control by hurting their friends. Hope and Kriv end up on the ground multiple times in this fight, but Ariel makes sure they continue to live. In the meantime, Bear runs into the vehicle and blows up the barrels within, destroying the building and killing two horses and throwing Bear unconscious to the ground. Afterwards, the Artillerist vanishes into nothing.
Suffering from the loss of Arnold, the group rests inside Dragonspear, remembering his loss and thinking about what happened before continuing their journey to Elturguard. On their way, the run into a chimera which the murderize very easily. Finally, they make it to Boareskyr Bridge, under the control of the empire.
At the bridge, they enter the outlying town and begin working on the things they need to. Most of the group get their weapons silvered and Kriv meets with a man named Bartholomeau to sell the horns of the goat head of the chimera. He then tells Kriv to be wary and come to him if he needs help.
