The Natural Disasters #15: Abandoned Champions

General Summary

Ariel saves Kriv from bleeding out while the rest of the group continue striking the Angered creature, and by doing so, they managed to slay the thing.
After this point, the group cut into themselves and utilize their blood to dissipate the darkness of the tablet. They leave behind the portable hole, and make their exit from the cavern. On their way out, they find the wraith king who speaks to them about their actions and lets them leave with the skeleton that Nix took control of. 
As the party exit the cavern, Nix leaves behind the skeleton to watch over it as light shines on his metallic armor, and they sleep in this early morning.
After this, the group begin head down towards the river to view the Companion once again. Once their eyes fall upon that ball of light once again, it becomes apparent that a new tendril of darkness has latched upon the sun with all its parasitic might. Seeing this jarring new feature, the group return to the city of Elturel.
As they approached the city, they saw more refugees entering than beforehand, looking for protection from constant war. Once within the city, the group see the arbiters of ablution tending to the refugees before eventually finding Syllin. She explains to them that Fort Morninglord has a dark dome around it and the only ones who have investigated were dead or saw creatures of darkness with vampiric might tearing apart their allies.
At this, the group all go to gather allies and supplies and send them to Elturel. Ariel approaches his old order. Hope gets Syllin and her friends she had made within the month to join. They also contact Eleanor in Berdusk, finish gathering their supplies, and make a new plan.
The party decide to head back towards the mountains and the valley in search of an answer to this previous tablet before heading to the fort. They rush through the land, passing people looking for a new home, including a group of forest dwelling elves and kenku on their way.
Finally, they make it into the valley and look at the tablet once again, but before they can figure anything out, Kriv feels a set of teeth scraping against his armor.
