The Old Kingdom is a land of endless sand, shifting and moving like an arid ocean. They say that this is the land of the humans' origin, and infrequently the ever-shifting dunes will reveal colossal, ruined structures containing innumerable treasures. But the sands can also reveal monsters, organic or ancient constructs, not to mention those daring expeditions whose treasure hunting ends with them drowned in the sand.
