Half-Elves
'The first of my kin was a symbol of love, love that transcended race and religion. Elves and men are from entirely different worlds, and yet they can come together, fall in love, and create life anew. As my parents did. I am blessed, to represent such love. Even if my ears aren't properly pointed, and I'll outlive all my human kin.' - Horila, High Priestess of CionAs the name may suggest, a half-elf is the offspring of an elf and a member of another race, typically a human. In many ways, they are stuck between these two worlds - they live longer than humans, but not as long as elves. They learn more quickly than elves, but not with the same rapidity as humans. While they have not inherited the sleeplessness of their elven parent, they need less than sleep than humans, requiring only 4-6 hours per night, and their eyes are uniquely adapted to see in darkness. In most communities, half-elves are accepted, though they may be scorned by those who consider them 'impure', especially in some high elven communities.

Additional Information
