Concilum Magorum

The rulers of Abalon, the Concilum Magorum is a council of mages and academics. Their power is largely ceremonial, though they have called the mages of Abalon to the island's defence in the most dire emergencies. How members of the Councilum are chosen is unclear - many rumours persist that you must prove your magical ability and intellect to be permitted to join.
