The Greenskeepers
Within the Realm of Spring the art of tending to the earth is revered. Those who devote their lives to the work are called Greenskeepers, typically though not always, born to a bloodline that has a tie to earth magic that enhances their abilities. There is a dedicated group of Greenskeepers in every large settlement within the Realm, and even small villages tend to have at least one official Greenskeeper who tends to the needs of that area. Some prefer to do their work deep in the Wildwood, in remote locations where it is only them and their craft.
The exact origin of the Greenskeepers is unknown, myth says it was a demifae who first founded the guild, but there was never any record found confirming this. Still, those who join the guild are typically incredibly devoted to it. The Guild sees that they are paid for their work, by decree of the Queen, and provides aid when needed, particularly after a Void attack. When the land is sickened it is the Greenskeepers that heal it, the way healers tend the bodies of other fae.
Their badge of office is a green stone infused with magic from the Wildflower Throne; it is a mark of pride for a Greenskeeper to coax a blossom from the gem.
