Overview
A cold and calculating man, Zieren Ravenwood was the father of
Ains and the King of Volana prior to his defeat by
Agatha and her forces. At the tender age of fourteen, he inherited the throne when he was but a timid boy. However, he was quickly overthrown and left for dead by his uncle, losing his right eye in the process. He only survived all thanks to a mysterious girl who took him under her wing. Due to the betrayal of his uncle, whom Zieren saw as his second father, he developed a pragmatic sense of ruthlessness during his three-year exile, and this is something that would influence his method of ruling. With the help of the girl that saved him, Zieren eventually reclaimed the throne. He then sacrificed his uncle and his other conspirators to Eulara, in addition to denying them a place in the afterlife. He was therefore dubbed as "The Revenant King," for he had returned from the dead and avenged himself against the transgressors that overthrew him.
