Sunwake

The Sea of Shrouds is the edge of the world for seafarers, a dangerous strait along the southern coast of Midgard's Lóben's Daggers.
The journey west from The Sunrise Sea to The Gilded Sea is fraught with peril, but if a ship can make it through the Galuchin Islands (known as the Eyes of Good Fortune) to enter the deep stream current at speed and in just the right spot with sails stowed, the current will shoot them straight around the Isle of Hadlathon to the Isle of Tol and its famed eastern beach, Sunwake.
No one lives on this island, but there is usually a ship or two docked just offshore. Pirates, smugglers and other ne'er do wells who make it to this small heaven in a vast sea find themselves dreamily full of coconuts and sticky with mango juices, drunk on sugars and nutrients by the time the sun sinks into the sea at their backs.
When they gather themselves enough to return to the westward waves, often heading towards the Godlands of Asgard or elven lands of Alfheim, more than a few have dropped some gold and other treasures on the beach, sparkling in a new day's sunrise.

Smells like a leap from worn, briny decks into the cool sea, sun-warmed skin drying on golden sands, a dangerous journey balmed by a sunset breeze and tropical fruits falling from the treetops like mana from the gods
