Roland Institute of the Arcane

The Roland Institute of the Arcane is located in the heart of Stargrada, on the eastern shore of Wren. The Institute first was established by Emerick Roland and his family of established wizards. Over time more and more wizards began to move to Stargrada to learn and teach alongside the Roland family. Over thousands of years, The Institute has morphed into the premier fountain of knowledge on all that has to do with the arcane. The Institute is made up of hundreds of different wizards all seeking their own goals and objectives, with the only thing uniting them being their use of arcane magic as a tool to achieve their goals.

Structure

The Roland Institute is comprised of numerous different universities that study specific fields of magic. These universities all are each lead by an Arch Mage who sits on the The Council of Mages, who exchange groundbreaking discoveries with one another, as well as manage rules for the protection and safety of The Institute and The Reach.
