Occultatum

A mysterious group of Elven fanatics, the Occultatum is a cult within the Anorian Empire that is shrouded in mystery. No members are known for sure, but there are always rumors of Anorian Nobles being apart of the group. To the public their doings are unknown but in reality they conspire to elevate the statues of the Anorian Empire, and take control of the entire Reach. They view it as their birth right as the most noble of the races that control territory within The Reach.

Structure

Victorum – This is the sole leader of the cult. They have absolute authority over the group, and their vision to bring Anor into the seat of total power is the sole mission of the group. They are selected by the Court of Eladrin, and the process in which they are reveled is only known to the current Victorum and their three luminaries.
Luminaries – These positions are given to those selected by the current Victorum. They are often uniquely situated in positions of power already before their appointment, which only grow as their statues is elevated and they gain more connections through the organization. There can only be three of them at a time, and they represent the other three entities of The Eladrin Court but are still subservient to their Victorum.
Dignitas – Are Elves that have high statues outside of Occultatum, meaning they are given a higher statue within the cult. They often attempt to increase their power and influence as a means to replace one of the current luminaries or become one of the next three when a new Victorum is selected. They often handle overseeing much of the plans of Occultatum directly, often receiving orders from the luminaries, and rarely directly serving at the behest of the Victorum.
Infirmies – These are the lowest ranking members of the cult. Promised connections and power many elves are tempted to join the group and receive the power and wealth that it offers. Even these lowest ranks of Occultatum are seen as above any other member of any other race. There are hundreds maybe even thousands of these members and they are disorganized, not truly knowing the vast extent of the cult in which they serve. Few learn the identities of Luminaries and it is forbidden that they know who the Victorum is until The Reconnection happens.

Culture

Beliefs;
  They are followers of what is know as the Court of Eladrin, representations of the four seasons. The Occultatum believes that their leaders can communicate with them directly and is even be to travel at will between the material plane and the Fey Wild to council with them. They currently see themselves as the rightful rulers of The Reach and see all the conflict and war that happens on it as a result of the lack of their rule. They have three tenants that they have enshrined into their cannon.
1. There is no peace without domination 2. Through domination comes freedom 3. Through freedom comes The Reconnection
It is commonly thought by scholars of this Cult that The Reconnection means that the Court of Eladrin will be able to make it’s way back into the Material Plane from the Fey Wild.
