Edengaard
Edengaard is a peninsula that connects to O'Valir on the northern edge of Jarrenvale. For thousands of years this region was covered with a dense jungle that covered almost the entirety of the land mass. Overtime the native people began to form settlements deep in these jungles, forming cultures and societies built around the ancient spirits and beings that inhabited the dense foliage. Although the natives of the land had no intention of ever settling this homeland, foreign peoples would not be in like mind. After the first few milenia had passed in the second age, Anorian Legions marched into Edengaard on a mission to expand their empire and fight for the honor and glory of Anor.
History
Edengaards people found it difficult to survive in the first years of the 2nd Age, with only wild vegetation and animals to survive off of. Not only did the dense jungle make settling into the land difficult, but the dense foliage allowed for monsters of the night to stalk throughout the trees at any time of day. It would be the first druidic circles found in the Reach that would allow for people to survive in Edengaard. These circles grew, and as they did they cultivated the area around them but did not change it. They practiced arcane horticulture on the land, to increase the bounty of food around them, and they made their homes alongside the ancient trees in the jungle. Once they had found their place in Edengaard, they sent small teams of scouts to venture further out into the Reach to see what there was to discover. It was during this time that the natives of Old Salt came into contact with these druid circles, and when the Kraken was once again banished from the Material Plane, the druids of edengaard where the only people from O'Valir that were there to help.
