Factions: Mercenary Companies and Notable Sellswords
- The Eclipse March: A company of skilled mercenaries that hail from the far east of the Promised Land. Individual members' skills of each individual can vary widely, but what is uniform between all members and the reason the company is so feared is their armor: a suit consisting of light material that has been enchanted to allow the wearer to cast the spell 'greater invisibility' on themselves at will, requiring no material components.
- Nox: A Changeling (E:RLW) Soulknife assassin who specializes in high profile eliminations; someone getting lost in the palace halls during a party. That sort of thing. She is a highly sought after client and her intermediaries in The Exchange charge a pretty Copper penny.
- Matrona: A notable demon hunter. She specializes in the use of experimental black powder weaponry.
- The Bleached: A mercenary company who specializes in guerrilla warfare. Their name (and fame) comes from a mission to sabotage a scheme in a Drow city in the Underdark.

- The Grave Keepers: Less a mercenary company and more a guild of Grave Domain Clerics. Their goal is making sure that the dead stay where they are. If someone dies filled with rage and hate their animating spirit could return as a wraith or wight that could wreak havoc across an under-supervised countryside.
- The Sting Rays: A group of merfolk that specialize in costal raids and aquatic combat. Their equipment includes nets, tridents, and javelins. They are known to fight against sahuagin for a reduced rate. Their leader is a Triton, who wields a trident that allows him to control water. They accept normal currency and art as payment.
- David: David is a single male human of exceptional skill with the pike and shield. Kitted out in bronze armor pike and shield in the style of the Greek hoplite. David will expect a sizable payment for his services. David specializes in assisting adventurers and fighting duels.
- First Flame Fists: A group of Azers that that are valued for their exceptional skills as smiths. They are often hired to supplement the army with fine arms and armor. Since they do not require food they are valued for defending sieges and during long campaigns. Their bodies of iron and war hammers make them excellent heavy infantry. One difficult when hiring them is they only except payment in valuable gems.
- Tucker's Kobolds: A group of well armed Kobolds that specialize in laying traps, hit and run tactics and tunneling/tunnel fighting.
