Lavender Country - Album Cover Redesign

This was created as a student project during my time at Longwood University.
This album cover was done for a challenge that called for a re-imagining of an older album, taking inspiration from well-known album cover artists. I chose to illustrate a cover for Lavender Country's self-titled album.
Imagining it to be an anniversary re-release, I featured the band's lead singer Patrick Haggerty referencing images of him from their 2019 reunion performance. I chose to make the cover a black ink illustration overlaid on a lavender watercolor background, playing off of the name of the band and album.
