Human - Animated Lyric Video

This was created as a student project during my time at Longwood University.
This project was created for an animated lyric challenge. The challenge called for 1-2 minutes of a song with lyrics to be animated to the music. For this project, I chose the song "Human" by Dodie.
To reflect the simple acoustic style of the song, I wanted to use a simple 2-color scheme and a handwritten type style. I found a typeface with two similar variants, and by switching between the two every few frames I was able to give the animation a hand-written feel without the time effort associated with hand-drawn animation. To accompany the lyrics, I also created a few simple animations that add to the hand-animated feel.
