System Credits

In the Pontision System the galactic standard currency is the Mundian currency, renamed “System Credits” (SC) after The Web was constructed. This was done early into the Pontision System’s history, and SC was quickly integrated into most planetary societies. Therefore, most civilised areas will accept SC, however as you travel deeper into the rural areas of a given World, they are less likely to accept this standardised currency and will probably only take the currency of said World.

Lancer Reserves

System credits are a reserve that a pilot can obtain. These reserves are known as bounties to Lancers and can come in five general tiers for these pilots: small, medium, large, extra large and extra extra large. Each tier increase is typically double the amount of the previous tier (e.g. one medium bounty is equivalent to two small bounties), and any bounty larger than small can be split at any time into two quantities of the tier below it.
For reference, a small bounty is roughly the equivalent of 500 SC. This would be enough SC to travel along one of The Web’s strings (a.k.a. travel to a different planet) while still keeping a ship's systems running and its crew fed for the remainder of the week. On Lancer forums, a bounty reward will often be attached to both public and private tasks, however private tasks can opt to hide their rewards. Additionally, some tasks do not offer any SC, but will instead offer alternative goods. Pilots can also obtain SC outside of their missions.
