Clairvoyance

The ability to see things through the eyes of other in real time. Whilst it is easier to do so with those she is familiar with, Nirya is capable of looking through the eyes of anyone within Asahla and can actually see through multiple sets of eyes at the same time, allowing her to get multiple perspectives on situations.

Personal history

Born into the lowest class amongst the Hytian, Nirya knew only poverty growing up. As jahksi (the lowest caste), she received no formal education and had to work from a young age to ensure there was food on the table for herself and all her family members.
She ended up serving Rey Nahls and his family, though she was the lowest of servants and treated as such. She was left with the lowest tasks and supposed to avoid being seen by members of the family.
The status quo began to shift, however, when Nirya was cleaning one of the rooms belonging to Rey Nahls' only daughter, Mahla. To Nirya's great shock, Sailor Aesyle stumbled into the room and transformed into Mahla. It was only after she'd shed her senshi form that a battered and bruised Mahla realised Nirya was there. After a tense few minutes, it was decided that it would be better for both of them if this remained a secret. A tentative trust formed between them and on more than one occasion Nirya tended Mahla's wounds in the aftermath of whatever fight she'd just had.
At some point in the months following, Nirya awoke as Sailor Hyas and this was when their relationship began to turn more towards friendship. There was still a lot of strain though, because it was very much a hidden behind closed doors friendship - Mahla couldn't acknowledge Nirya in front of others. Mahla introduced Nirya to Sailor Eudora, with the latter offering to train Nirya in combat as she was doing for Mahla as Sailor Aesyle. Nirya refused - she didn't want to know how to fight.
Through her position as Sailor Hyas, Nirya met the other senshi of the Atlas System and the Prince of the Empire, Galen. She was invited to join the Areto Iphito Academy but refused because she needed to work to provide for her family and if she was discovered to be a senshi she'd be outlawed because of it.
Nirya was in Asalha when Sailor Atlas attacked and set the city on fire. As Sailor Hyas, she was first to confront the other senshi and ultimately she was the one who dealt the killing blow, allowing the other senshi to put out the fires.
Now, many years later, Nirya works behind the scenes to help make Aesyle a better place. Her clairvoyance means she is able to see things as they happen, which allows her and her network of helpers to be in the right place at the right time to sublty influence the goings on around her. She has made strides to balancing out the disparity amongst the Hytian.

Education

Nirya has no formal education, as her culture didn't provide schooling for those of her rank. Everything she's learnt is self-taught or through observation. She can barely read and struggles with it. She has only the most simplest of mathematical skills and next to no knowledge of geography, history and the like.

Employment

Nirya was originally employed as the lowest of staff amongst Rey Nahls' house. This involved cleaning, removing waste, running errands for higher ranked members of staff and generally keeping out of sight.
Following the Burning of Asahla, Nirya never returned to work, allowing most of the household to believe she died in the fires, like so many (though Mahla knew the truth). Instead, she disappeared into the shadows of the city, always watching and slowly building up a network of informants and workers. She worked to influence the rebuilding of the city and its culture, seeing the fire as the clean slate it could be, doing what she could to make things better for everyone but especially her fellow jahksi.

Mental Trauma

Killing Pythia as Sailor Atlas took its toll on Nirya, which wasn't helped by having to deal with the aftermath of the fires that had ravaged Asahla. She shut herself off from Mahla and Katsa and let everyone else that knew her believe she died in the fires.
