After reports of sacks of smaller tribes had reached the Nomad-Tribe Confederation, they promptly assembled an army of at least five thousand men, who marched to confront the Kevrêfnah and demand that they leave. They were slaughtered, and war broke out, soon involving the entire High-Glasslands. It took several years and hundreds of thousands of lives for it to end with the escape of the First Ant Expedition.
