Capital of the Empire of the Sun, and founded on ground donated by the first founding nations of the political body. 

The inhabitants of the city are fiercly proud of it, as well as their independence, and form the bulk of Imperial troops from their number. This has the unintended side affect of making them incredibly loyal to the idea of the Empire, but not to specific people within the government.

They tend to avoid direct control by the Imperial Regent either through clever political maneuvering or through the pointed reminders of their rifles.
