Askar

The ancestral homeland of mortal dragonkind, Askar is a harsh but relatively small land in the northern reaches of the known world. Filled with badlands caked in layers of snow, tundras near the mountains, and pockets of evergreen forests dotted all over the landscape, the land almost seems hostile to transportation and large civilization. Despite this, The Republic of Askar makes its home at the base of and inside the northern mountain range of the small continent, almost as if in fierce defiance of the harsh environment.
