Winter, the Frozen Empress

While she is on stage, Neih takes a rest and the tree becomes a frozen landscape. Winter calls in the snow, pushing the creations of Fall underground to hibernate. While Neih rests, Winter’s spirit cleans up the cosmic tree, sending her creations to prune branches and cut out infections caused by three other Seraphs recklessness and carelessness, sprucing it up for the next seasonal cycle. Winter tends to be the mature Seraph, which often leaves her low in regard to Neih. But she accepts this responsibility coolly. While she takes it well, her creations are different, many of which becoming cold and stubborn, antagonistic to Neih. While most of her creations accept the melt of Spring, some of her creations actively struggle to survive and bring an eternal winter to Neih. A lot of them figure out that this is impossible fairly quickly, so shift their attention to find a better home for their creator, where winter is eternal.

She reigns over the long cold years of the season of winter in Neih. It is a peaceful time of rest with not much going on, as the tree is covered in snow and ice from top to bottom. It is cold and inhospitable, and often a forgettable period in Neih. That being said, the tough climate is the birthplace of the Eternal Empire, the oldest lasting civilization on Neih. It has survived a several seasonal cycles (over 100,000 years) as it learns the patterns of the seraphs. They have a strange relationship with the seraph of Winter, at times getting her blessing and at others opposing her vehemently. Yet they remain, unlike much other peoples of Neih. There are other areas of life during Winter, such as near Neih's roots, within leaves caught in Neih's branches or in the crevices and cavities of Neih's stem, but for the most part it is a quiet and peaceful season.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Her goals are to clean up Neih while Neih rests after Fall. While Spring wakes Neih up and Fall prepares Neih to sleep, Winter makes sure Neih's rest is peaceful and healing. She is not much of a fan of Spring, as her torrents, though necessary, ruin her peace and damage the work she tries to achieve. She at times sends the cold and frost into Spring to quiet down the season.
