The Saltflats

The Saltflats were a region of the Dormant Lands on the Veritian Leaf. It is on the northeastern side of the Dormant Lands just south of the Eastern Fey Wilds. It was once a sea, but once the Veritian Leaf was fully open, the water poured over the edge leaving behind a flatbed of salt for miles. Most civilized locals left the region alone, and the Shadar Kai eventually swooped in and made a colony searching for salt, a rarer resource in Neih during the Summer.
The main settlement in this region is Sinfetter.
