The Prophet Frillith
Prophet Frillith
Frillith was created and played by Kaitie Rooth
The Prophet Frillith was a cleric for the Church of Veritas, member of the branch of Neih. She spent most her life as an aloof wonderer enjoying nature in the Western Fey Wilds when by happenstance a trip to Vigil for her routine resupply and regaling to a local barkeep, she got intangled with the Dormant Cult that led her to travel to the capital of Tumult, taking part in many adventures.
She is most known for sparking the Neih Revival, a revival of veritian worship in Tumult. Unfortunately, she perished in the Frozen War against the Frittian moving ice fortress. Her body was then reclaimed by her fey friends she made in the Western Fey Wilds. King Bedrich has since offered a great reward for anyone who could retrieve the prophet's body so that he could appease that growing movement. Someone eventually did, but Bedrich saw a better use for this prophetic corpse. He raised her to become one of his personal guards, shunning the Neih Revival. Her undead corpse would fall in 1052 at the Battle Against Bedrich.

Personal history
Raised in the city of Neih’s Wonder, Frilith followed the path of her forebearers, the path of the cleric. Though she had an innate wonder and love for the Cosmic Tree, she proved a frustrating student for her teachers and awkward friend for her peers. Aloof, she roamed the city cheery eyed and filled with childish wonder.
When she reached the age of initiation to become a Revealer within the Church, she chose rather the path of learning. Believing nature to be where the essence she loved truly lied, she went the path of a hermit wandering the trees of the Western Edge, communing with the fey and critters she met in order to acquire spiritual insight.
One day, on her 30th birthday, her fairy friend Tanglelily brought her to the revered city of reveling Fey Banquet, where the queen of fairies Wonderbluff bestowed on her a book on manners and etiquette and sent her on her way. As she left, curious as to why she was given this gift, she found a four-leaf clover and pressed it inside her gift, keeping them and pondering them in her heart.
Four years have passed since then, and Frilith has wandered the wilds in holy exultation to nature. Yet, on her yearly trip to Vigil, the nearest town in her current wanderings, she planned to regale her friend Von the barkeep on her spiritual insights, which were often spiritual babblings to most normal folk. But, as luck would have it, her visit was not the most opportune. Caught in a bar brawl between the locals and a group of outsiders, Frilith was arrested by the guard and is waiting to plead her case.
This debacle led her to join a group of adventurers who ended up defeating the Dormant Cult's attempt at claiming the town of Vigil. She also found the Bark of Neih, an artifact of great healing, that she used to heal the minor vein near Vigil. This gave her a vision of Neih, who found to attempt to resist the Dormant interesting. This spurred on her faith, and pushed her to abandon her hermit lifestyle in order to rejuvenate the Bark of Neih.
She was then, with her party, invited by the local lord to attend the Felicity Ball. They had a brief respite at the city of Crossroads, where the whole Resurrection of Gloranna and the Demon Troubles stuff occurred. Her party needed to cleanse themselves of that demonic nonsense once they reached Felicity, which they did with the help of the Hahlian wandering priests. In Felicity is where she grew in fame, as she was present at the Dance Incident terrorist attack and led the public mourning of that disaster. She also showed her ire to the local bureaucrats who dared to sacrifice their nation for demonic power. See the Neih Revival for more detail on this.
Unfortunately, when she joined the battle at Riverside, she perished. She was not able to fulfill the healing of the bark she set out to do, but has started a movement which will follow her footsteps.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
She is a worshipper of Neih, and dislikes things that damage nature. She loved to proselytize.
Social
Contacts & Relations
She is good friends with the fey of the Western Fey Wilds, as they loved her endearing nature despite the amount of pranks they did to her. A notable friend was the archfey Fairy Queen of Fey Banquet, who even tasked a fey to retrieve her body if she should perish.
She was also great friends with the hero of Tumult, Lord Kourend Salmonpuddle, having joined him on much of his journey and return to noble society. She died prior to that souring event of the assassination of King Iscalon the Fourth, so her reputation remains without scrupple (except for her involvement with the death of Tommy Drummer of the Neih's Breath entertainment group). Other friends she had were Gloranna Briarfell, Julius Dharkness, and Malvo for a bit.
Another contact that is less known is that of Andujar Szereban, who had a crush on the prophet. This was only a momentary affection, but it proved quite formative for the noble tiefling, who has been open to Neih ever since.
Family Ties
She is from a prominent tiefling family in Neih's Wonder, but she is not much remembered for that connection. She was never disowned, but her hermit lifestyle was not one her family approved of. They have let to know what wonders her life brought.
Religious Views
She was a cleric of Neih, thus she carried the Neihite pursuit of wonder.
