The Mask of Living Dreams

The Mask of Living Dreams is a cursed object from Sinfetter (renamed Living Dream Fortress during the Dormant Rise). The wearer of this mask loses all sight while wearing it, but gains blindsight in its place. The cursed part about it is that it cannot be taken off without powerful magic. There are only a dozen or so of these masks that were made, and many were given to devout Dormant members to express their great faith. One mask found its way to Tumult via the travels of King Iscalon, but he discarded of it via Black Market Magics. It was bought by the hero Malvo, who gave it to a merchant hag in exchange for friendship in opening up a magic business in Tel'ul.

Significance

Those who wear these masks are assumed to be loyal to the Dormant. It is the only means to garner an audience with the Dreamer of the Dormant Lands.
