The Happy Clappers

The Happy Clappers is one of the three main entertainment troupes on the Veritian Leaf. It is the newest of the three, appearing near the end of the Era of Kings, coming out of the Three Cities region in the Southern Farmlands. Unlike the two other troupes, the Happy Clappers are secular in origin. They are predominately in the southern part of the Veritian Leaf.

Structure

The Happy Clappers structure works more like a loosely connected web, where members or bands have much independence and control over their own region of popularity. The downside is that they can be easily abandoned (as in the case of Dingus Rockharvest). Thus, no one really knows who the leader is, but the diluted regulations from the top someone reach its members.

Foreign Relations

In 1102, during the Eternal invasion, the Happy Clappers tried to infiltrate their ranks through entertainment. When the Bull began filming the movie 'Bedrich', they tried their best to get roles in the film. They were snubbed when other veritians took the roles. And since these budding actors were no names in the bard community, it set a precedent that anyone could be actors. This hamstringed the Happy Clapper's goals to monopolize the industry.
