The Ankou

The Ankou used to serve the Seraph of Spring, aiding her in the ushering of souls to their next life. But his hatred for his whining charges pushed him to betray Spring and join the forces of the Seraph of Fall, the Dormant Cult, and bring death rather than escort it. He fought on a couple continental leaves before arriving to the Veritian Leaf, acquiring a coterie of crones who worshipped him along the way. After the Dormant Rise, the Ankou spread his wings over the Summer Worshippers of Evermore, and after they submitted to the Cult, started a nest there to bring Black Dragons to this leaf. But his treachery was not forgotten, and Spring sent her servant the lich king Bedrich to war against him in the Western Fey Wilds. The Ankou would die there, killed by Bedrich's general Gloranna.
In 1102, during the invasion of the Eternal Empire, a group from the Bull division made a movie about the lich king Bedrich. The Ankou played a role in that movie, with the production team using an animatronic dragon for the filming and the actors summoning portals into Tuth to destroy the machine with high pressure water. The scene was well received though not historically accurate.
