The Accursed

The Accursed are the human natives of the continent of Clove in the Droplets of Turm. They are called Accursed for they were a revived civilization resurrected by Spring. This had a side effect where when they are in the light of Ul Salvation they appear undead, though they still have their senses. This curse makes them dress heavily in order to hide this change while out in the open. Even on Clove amongst their peers they carry this shame, only showing their "naked" forms to close relations. The Accursed are a minor presence throughout the rest of the region, preferring to stay on their own continent, but they are not opposed to travel. They maintain a mutual peace with the fishfolk, moving through their lands with little hindrance. The fishfolk have bigger problems with the Elderrot to concern themselves with the small number of Accursed moving about. One notable exception to the Accursed more isolationist mentality is the region around Ul Salvation. Spring worship is common in their cultures, thus the region around Ul Salvation is settled by many Accursed.
