Second Division, the Bull
"El Matador" controls the hammerhead mothership, a repurposed moving colony ship. It is rare for an enemy nation to have to fight an enemy city suddenly popping up in their territory or crashing through their walls. The hull is near indestructible, which they use to ram through enemy lines. Other than that, ‘El Matador’ is an entertainment A.I. Division 2 is one of the go-to motherships of the Fourth Fleet for those on leave for how much it invests in entertainment and luxury. “El Matador” has an emergency evacuation form shaped like a fantastical beast, though not many have seen it in action.
While a part of the strike force, tending to be on the front lines of conflict, they are not often the ones to press the advance. Setting up supply lines, building sustainable defenses and resource extraction near the frontlines, annex cities, these are the jobs often tasked to the second division after the initial invasion. But, if there is some stubborn city that they are besieging which refuses to capitulate, the Fourth Fleet would then call upon the bulldozing might of El Matador. In the invasion of the Veritian Leaf, the second Division is one of the divisions fighting the Church of Veritas in the north.
Outside of military duties, the Bull runs an entertainment empire, focused mostly on the art of filmmaking. They fill a demand the soldiers need for distraction and mirth, as downtime outside the fatherland is oftentimes empty or scary. It started as propoganda films depicting the glory of the Empire and the terrors of the other, but that never made a profit, often perceived by the audience as a bitter reminder of their duty and possible death. Thus, they turned to pure entertainment value, scouring the worlds they visit for interesting stories to turn into film. On the Veritian Leaf, the Rednose Production Company of the Bull Division made a movie on the Tumultian king Bedrich.
The Bull Division was mid siege of the city of Neih's Wonder when the Winter Contingency hit. Their mothership had recently rammed the great walls of the fortress city, and was left pertruding out once their A.I. shutdown. While their air support fled, the Bull had no other option but to surrender to the church of Veritas. The Church accepted their surrender, confiscating their military equipment but otherwise letting them keep making movies. Thus, the Bull became the hub for acting and filmmaking on the Veritian Leaf, a luxury product that brought them prosperity. They even were able to remain secular, as all faiths and creeds were permitted in the film industry. The more fundamentalist veritians may have a problem with such allowances, but the more moderate could see the benefits of such an industry existing in this rebuilding era.
