Roan Upstarts

The Roan Upstarts (not a name they gave themselves) are a group of dwarves from the city state of Ro trying to garner some more political sway in their region and the world. They arose in the year 1102 with the invasion of the Veritian Leaf by the Eternal Empire, when their Stallion Division parked their mothership by the city of Ro. As the Eternals were making claims of diplomatic negotiations and alliance, the dwarves here were some of the first to kowtow to these invaders. They hoped to establish a Eternal presence in Ro, piggybacking upon their potential victory. Not only did that victory not come, the Upstarts never made much sway into the political world of Dialogue, often ignored or outright despised. While they never got far diplomatically, the Roan Upstarts started a new ploy after the fall of Capital. The Eternals of the 7th Division made haste to leave that doomed mothership after the Winter Contingency, but that did not stop the Ro. They now risk the taint of Omega, undead krakens, and other horrors to scour the wreckage for value. Strangely, the vultures that they are, they've become quite the good scavengers.
