Night Terror

The Night Terror was an aberration old god created by Fall to serve his dark purposes within the Dormant Cult. He served in the Dormant Rise (950-1030) on the Veritian Leaf where he fought at Sinfetter and annexed it for the cult. He held the city until the Dormant were pushed back after the Dormant defeat in 1041. While the Dormant would fight to the last, and the city wasn't reclaimed until 1042 by the hero Folstead, the Night Terror was not so devoted to Fallen death worship. Rather, he stole the daughter of Lothcryn, Lysan, and fled into a pocket dimension and barred off the entrance. There, he would live a monstrous imitation of lordly life with his kidnapped queen for the next 70 or so years.
The Night Terror believed himself protected from the outside world, but he did not take into account the Tuthian metaphysical break, which overtime corrupted his walls. When Folstead broke through and injured the false deity (nearly losing his life in the process) the Night Terror's time was running out. A group of adventurers (Eternal special forces) entered next, found the Night Terror, and killed him after healing up Folstead. They rescue Lysan and the pocket dimension crumbled behind them.
The Night Terror's reputation amonst the Dormant was soured by his cowardice. When his death was proclaimed, the Dormant Lands to the south could not care less. Rather, they saw it as an opportunity to reinvigorate their attempts at taking Sinfetter, since the Night Terror's claim of conquest was no longer valid. When the Flower received an opportunity to send troops to that region, she took it enthusiastically. A costly mistake when the Tuthian Metaphysical Break was healed, but one built on the Night Terror no longer being around.
