Librarian Coldshore
Librarian Michael Coldshore
Coldshore was the custodian of the library at the Caskajaro estate first for the uncle then for Dr. Caskajaro the necromancer himself. While he was more a servant to Caskajaro and the Pinecone incedent, he played a major in the Demon Troubles and the Battle for Dusk as well. He died twice, his soul being connected to both the Nine Hells and the Path of Veritas. In this limbo state, he could not be reincarnated properly until hell was expelled from the Veritian Leaf. His first death was at the Caskajaro estate at the hands of Malvo's Tuthian Marble detonation he used to shut the rift there. The second was in Dusk, as Neih used Coldshore as a conduit for his explosive energy that shut the giant rift over the city.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
After the Tuthian dream explosion, Neih put Coldshore's soul into a wooden puppet. This puppet has no defining features or facial expressions. It is also blessed by Neih, making it invulnerable wood. Coldshore was no fighter, so it was a useless perk for combat. It simply assured Neih's bomb would not prematurily detonate.

Personal history
Librarian Coldshore was a loyal servant to the Caskajaro estate. Hired at a young age, he stayed employed for the entirety of Dr. Caskajaro's and Ravian Caskajaro's (the uncle) descent into madness. This loyalty was not completely selfless, Coldshore was simply more concerned with the Caskajaro book collection. His morale failing may have been that he did nothing to stop the madness of the Caskajaros, whether he could do anything at all.
It was only in the nephew's reign of the estate that Coldshore was made of use. Knowing that Coldshore loved the library above all else, Dr. Caskajaro used that love to bind Coldshore's soul to a portal he opened in that room to the Nine Hells (a connection which was surprisingly easy to make to Caskajaro's surprise) so that he could bring in a demon ally called the Rot and his army of plague bearing heralds. Coldshore soul was then connected to two realms unable to reincarnate.
During the Assassination of Dr. Caskajaro and the liberation of Pinecone, the assassin Malvo of the Guild of Rogues met Librarian Coldshore. Coldshore, with an apathetic stance on his situation as he still had his books, did not care that Malvo was an enemy of his master. Malvo found the portal connecting Coldshore to hell, and threw his Tuthian Marble into it. Malvo was protected by the blast by the intervention of Neih (who hates uninvited deities), but the portal, Coldshore, and half the Caskajaro Estate were destroyed in the psychic explosion.
Later on, Malvo called upon aid from Neih once again, and was given the disjointed soul of Librarian Coldshore in a wooden puppet form. They then went to Dusk to combat the Demon Troubles there. In the last fight, after Malvo slew the avatar of Asmodeus, Coldshore walk onto the scene and did his final redemptive duty to Neih, losing his life to shut the last portal to hell. He then could finally die and reincarnate to Hah.
Education
Coldshore was educated in a fairly minor arts institution in Felicity. That education brought him in contact many a time with the Felicity Library, awakening his love for books. This got him a job at the Caskajaro estate.
Employment
He was the custodian of books in the Caskajaro library. His job was mostly upkeep and scribing duties of the books he had under his care.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
The motivations of his youth were to read books. He succeeded at that for his entire life.
After his first death, his motivations changed. He finally knew the price he paid when he made that deal for Dr. Caskajaro, and the consequences of a soul unable to reincarnate on the Path to Veritas. His motivations thus aligned with that of Neih, which was to shut the demon portals.
