Hunter Julius Dharkness

This character was a creation of Alexander William.
A demon hunter to the Hunters of Dharkness, Julius has huge shoes to fill living in the shadow of his mother the Head Huntress Aleesia, the elven leader and founder of the faction. Her and her husband, a human named Gabriel, were renown demon hunters in the dilapidated city of Draught in the Southern Farmlands. Julius was an up-and-coming demon hunter, and started the healing of the Demon Troubles of Tumult.
He never got the chance to fill those shoes, having died in Felicity while fighting Tommy Drummer of the entertainment troupe Neih's Breath.

Personal history

Julius Dharkness was present in the Battle for Vigil, the Demon Troubles of Crossroads, was present at the 1040 Felicity Ball, and unknowingly brought the corruption to the Felicity Military. While he was never able to fix what Asmodeus made him do, he did protect those who eventually did during the fight with Neih's Breath.
His death sparked the ire of the Dharkness Hunters for the Demon Troubles of Tumult. A platoon of them came north and eventually fought in the Battle for Dusk against the Lady of Dusk.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

He was an ambitious hunter trying to please his mother. Upright and righteous, he sought to cleanse the Veritian Leaf of all demonic threats. He was Tumult for that precise reason, hunting the cambion Sestycius. He did not succeed at that task, but left the world a better place for being in it.
A secondary motive was to discover who killed his father. He asked Neih of that when he met the cosmic being after the victory at Vigil, and learned that the Paraclete of Uz was the one who killed him, but that knowledge may have died with him and most of the other witnesses (Kourend Salmonpuddle, the prophet Frillith, Daequis). The only living person who knows that fact now is Dingus Rockharvest, who at the time was on the run in the Bludgeon Halls.
