Gale

Gale is an experimental machine learning system and artificial intelligence of the E.E.S.C. Nightingale. It was developed to experiment in machines learning the natural virtues (and vices) of organics, mainly heroism. Thus, it was developed with certain limitations, such as limited memory capacity, no direct connections to a larger server, data center, or communication arrays, routine memory erasure, etc). This was done so that the circumstances of the machine learning would mirror that of organics the most possible. It was made to be weak and need to adapt.
Gale was assigned to a special forces team, and was tasked with monitoring and learning from these soldiers. The committee chose a young group of promising soldiers rather than seasoned veterans, as they wanted the A.I.'s growth to mirror the soldiers. Perhaps this would break the optimal preservation glitch that keeps all other A.I.s from truly shining under overwhelming pressure. Results are yet to be determined.
Gale was funded and developed by the Board of Innovation. It was installed in a Eternal Empire Stealth Ship called the Nightingale.
