Concubines of Nur
The Concubines of Nur are the ladies of the court of the Shogun Kalethorn Nur. Most of them were political arrangements, uniting the Dakath region that the shogunate now controls, but there are also others from outside of Dakath hoping to profit from this political alliance. There are fourteen concubines in total, though there is no set limit in the palace. While Kalethorn had many children with these concubines, none of them are officially his wife, nor are the chidlren officially his heir. Thus, there is a competition within the concubines to earn Kalethorn's favour. This has of yet done nothing but create a palace soap opera, with most the children of Kalethorn being sent out as political pawns throughout the world. These children are called Runts of Nur.
The fourteen concubines are: Jaz Meen (Yuan-ti from Glade in the SPN), Tania (fey witch of the Western Fey Wilds), Belletrix (Elven Lady of Vendetta, beast maiden of the North), Cinder (Elven Mage of the Tower of Dakath, traitor of the west), Rora (celestial of Summer), Lan (Elven lady from the plains of Flef), Huntress (Elven lady of New Nur), Ellisana (aasimar daughter of Rasputisa, general of Winter), Annasi (aasimar daughter of Rasputisa, general of Winter, the two are sisters), Snow (Human lady from the plains bordering the Eastern Fey Wilds, east of the Bludgeon Halls), Reese (Half-Elven Lady of Memore), Azriel (mermaid princess of the Great Droplet Sea), Merida (Human lady from the wildlands of Acre), and finally Toa-Kase (Human sea queen of the Great Droplet Sea).
