CMS Collective
The Cavalier Multi-Sentient A.I. Collective, shortened to the CMS Collective, is the A.I. (or group of A.I.s) that leads the Hare Division of the Eternal Empire's Fourth Fleet. While the Eternal Empire is very anti-magic, seeing that it is more times than not connected to divine beings, the CMS Collective does not carry that prejudice. Their mothership is a series of ships that could detach and reattach at command, connected my magic and portals. Its full form looks like a floating mountain and has several different ecosystems throughout. The CMS Collective itself is numerous A.I.s, which gives them the ability to separate if in danger. Which they used during the Winter Contingency, as the deletion portion of the contingency was locked into ICE, deleting only one of them.
The CMS Collective was divided into eight parts; FIRE, ICE, STONE, WIND, LIGHT, DARK, SHOCK, and FORCE. After the Contingency destroyed ICE, they cannibalized it to create WATER. Each A.I. has its own floating city, their motif following their element. Here is a quick rundown on their cities, all of which are linked by portals:
- FIRE: The city is called Ignatum. It is a forge city flowing with lava and heat. It has a more militaristic bend.
- WATER: The city is called Glace. Once was the city of ICE, the frozen motif melted away into a city of water. It is like an aquarium in the sky. It was once for data storage, but has since switched to agriculture and weather management.
- STONE: The city is called Steel, and it is a metal fortress. It is the safe of the Hare Collective, its bank managing the economy.
- WIND: The city is called Zephyrus, and it is more like a floating forest than a city. It is known for its magic towers and rich estates, home to the upper class.
- LIGHT: The city is called Lighthouse. It is the more stereotypical city, with a city center and surrounding suburbs and living areas. It is also known as the city that never sleeps, as there is a large lighthouse in the middle always blaring bright. It is a population center serving a variety of purposes.
- DARK: The city is called Abyss. Its main purpose is a prison for powerful enemies of the Hare, but it also has an experimental and scientific division within it. They hope to study their enemy so that they may defeat them.
- SHOCK: The City is called Factor. It is an energy plant and ship building factory, imitating some of the production facilities from the Boar, the Serpent, and the Rooster.
- FORCE: The city is called Stand. It has a steampunk motif, but is more where the lower dregs of the Hare end up. If one is looking for cheap labor, they would go here. Its only positive of the Stand is its large city busting cannon, though they only have three shots left in it. There are talks of scrapping Stand and transferring FORCE to the first on ground city in the Hare Collective once it is done.
