Cap Floris

Cap Floris was an elven druid of the Eternal Empire fourth fleet. He was the captain of the Rat Division's first dreadnought. His patron was an archfey who bent the knee to the empire once its leaf was conquered. He did not see much combat in the invasion of the Veritian Leaf, only coming in contact with the locals at the battle of the Rat. Thus, he was little prepared for the tactics of the Veritians, expecting a contest of artillery. Rather, the Veritians sent boarders into the dreadnought, overwhelming their defenses. The ship was nearly captured, which the second dreadnought captained by Captain Barnun could not allow the loss of a dreadnought, so he shot it down with a his railgun, slaying Cap Floris.
