Podlaskie is a habitable terrestrial planet in the Zeta Tucanae system, and capital world of the The Federal Republic of Zeta Tucanae. Its atmosphere is breathable by humans, and it has a self-sufficient biosphere that is believed to have been artificially created by the Cetians several thousand years ago. It is one of the most populous planets in the Outer Systems, and is considered to be the economic centre of the FRZT. Additionally it is a hub for both trade and cultural exchange with Earth, a status facilitated by Zeta Tucanae's long-range wormhole to the Epsilon Eridani system near Sol.
