Sun Peak Geographic Location in The Order of the Lost Archmagus | World Anvil

Sun Peak

The Sun Peak is a massive mountain that rises up through both sides of the world, creating a shape like two cones joined at the base. The Sun Peak is so big, that it can be seen from almost any location on I'athos. Into the side of the Sun Peak are carved a series of eight faces. One for each of the First Humans, the founders of civilization, except for their leader, as he was deemed 'To great to be captured by a likeness'. In reality, the faces are a time keeping mechanism, and there was no place for the ninth face, and Zurick chose to bless his brothers and sisters with their likeness rather than take it for himself. Four 'Rises' to measure the time it takes for the sun to leave the peak. The one Peak, which represents the Mid-day, and Four 'Sets' to measure the decent of the sun. A total of 'Eighteen Shines to a day. Nine Bright Shines and Nine Dark Shines'.
