As I'athos is a disk world, the form of navigation one might be accustomed to no longer works. Much of navigation is also dependent on local landmarks. In place of the four cardinal directions, I'athos has instead, Peakward, Edgeward, For and Agin. Someone who is traveling inland is traveling 'Peakward'. Someone who is traveling out-land is traveling 'Edgeward'. Someone traveling with the rotation of the I'athos is traveling 'For', and someone traveling against the clockwise rotation of the planet is traveling 'Agin'.
