The Brightlands refer to areas of the world that have been not only densely populated by mankind, but also deliberately cleared of anomalies and the horrors that they bring. It takes a lot of effort and luck to claim the Darklands and forge them into a world of security, strength and peace, but it is an endeavor that rulers dreams of.
