Session 42: It's the final countdown
General Summary
You have played your role miserably. But of course, I doubt you were even aware of the role you were to play. To think that my gambit would be thwarted due to the inability of a mere pawn to understand the rules that bind it.They Wandering Apocalypse did the impossible. They’ve left the Amber Temple. They pocketed some treasures, did another two rounds through the temple hall (one cannot hope for too much, I guess) before deciding that yes, they’re done here.
As they leave, they notice that it’s rather silent. There’s no crows about, no wolves howling, not even a light drizzle of blood. It’s quite a contrast to the eight days ago when they entered the temple. They soon find out why, as the visage of Strahd shows up in the clouds itself to monologue at them. They have five days to enjoy their miserable existence essentially.
They also fought a goat and opened a gate.
Then they went to Yester Hill. That's it.
