Session 13: An Execution Interrupted

General Summary

The party sets out after Vasilli, and soon find him at the town square. It is here that Bluto will soon find his untimely end for drowning a Vistaani girl. They spot Vasilli in the crowd, Ireena following him. Before long, they reach the stage, and as Vasilli steps forward, the crowd and the world quiets. Turns out, he’s Strahd in disguise. Who could’ve seen this coming? Not our party that were very suspicious of him, yet still gave their escortee to him. He monologues for a bit, seeming rather displeased with the entirety of them. He sets off on his burning horse, Ireena on back.
Not long after, vampires burst out from below the gallows, setting out into the village and murdering indiscriminately. Our party quickly sets after them, and with the aid of some of the guardsmen manage to dispose of all the spawn.
