Bluto Krogarov was the town drunk of Vallaki, as well as the last fisherman of Lake Zarovich.
Whereas once a well-liked man, Bluto was left a shell of his former self after the death of his wife and daughter at the hands of Izek Strazni due to malicious unhappiness.

Bluto was executed for drowning a Vistani girl in the hopes of this sacrifice bringing back the fish to the lake. The Vistani girl in her last breath however cursed Bluto Krogarov, transforming his face in one that more reflected his true nature. Bluto Krogarov's execution started the Feast of Saint Andal.
