Sih'Teel is a Clever Jack who Acts Without Consequence

While in town the other day, I was approached by one Sih’Teel. He was a most amiable fellow and entertained my companions and I with his tales of daring adventures. He was well-dressed, and quick-witted. However, while he seemed to know me and some of my entourage, I confess I cannot recall ever meeting him before. Who is this Sih’Teel?

Sih’Teel recently showed up in Northam , apparently interested in the Beyonder's Blades settlement (such an egregious name for a group of criminals!). Since then, he has made the rounds to every inn and tavern, where he has been popular with some of the locals with his stories. I note however that most of his stories are about his own grandiose deeds, and I suspect many of the details are much embellished.
As to his actual background (to have lived through all the adventures he has described would take several hundred years), less is known for certain. He appears to have come in from the far western reaches, perhaps even from the sea regions. All of my correspondents say something similar: he is a friendly fellow and a slick dresser; a bit of a dandy perhaps. He has without a doubt been involved in some trouble or other, and so seems to keep drifting onwards.
As of yet, he has reported his pockets being picked to the guards, and been questioned on two other occasions about petty thefts occurring where he has happened to be staying. Each time, he has been able to prove his innocence, although once the guard admitted he was so enthralled with Sih’Teel’s stories that he forgot why he was questioning him.
Overall, he seems harmless enough I suppose. It is possible you met him at some public gathering or other, although he seems to be familiar with most people he meets. He even knew some details of one of my first investigations into a missing cypher from the treasury! Still, I cannot pin down anything precisely in his background and so recommend he be fined and banned from Northam indefinitely. He is keeping too many guards from their duties with his stories.
