Personal history
Background: According to Ymir I who brought her to the Yggdrasil pack, Hela was found playing in the remains of a rotting elk carcass. This would have been nothing too unusual had that been the only thing Ymir I had found. Hela I was surrounded by the corpses of the entire elk herd, all decimated and rotting at exponential rates. The grass and ground beneath them rotting as well. Ymir I knew then she had found her god of death.

3/2/2021: After learning to control her powers somewhat, Ymir I and Brimir I have her test it out on one of their own. Instead of chasing out Brimir's daughter, Lofn Brimir, they give her the choice of becoming Hela I's first kill. She accepts more than happy to sacrifice herself. Hela I lulls her into her deathly sleep. Lofn does not fight against it and is honored to have been Hela I's first wolf to kill.
After the deed is done, Hela feels indifferent about the situation. She neither loved nor hated Lofn, and yet she still felt nothing for death. She now understood why she had been chosen for their God of death.
3/5/2021: After Brimir dies in the Lunar world, Hela I performs her funeral rites to send her to Valhalla. Since Brimir had died fighting, like the best of wolves do, she would receive her own special den once she got to Valhalla. Hela I made sure to include her favorite things on her funeral pyre before setting it a lite with her fire. That way all of her favorite things would transfer with her to the final pack.
